The clinical trials module uses records from the following trials registry:

1. USA Trials registry (ClinicalTrials.gov).

2. EU Clinical Trials register (EUCTR).

3. International Standard Randomised Controlled Trial Number Register (ISRCTN).

4. The European Union electronic Register of Post-Authorisation Studies (EUPAS).

5. Australian New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry (ANZCTR).

6. University Hospital Medical Information Network-Clinical Trials Registry (UMIN-CTR), Japan.

7. The World Health Organization International Clinical Trials Registry Platform (WHO-ICTRP).

   1.  Federal Agency for Medicine and Health Products-Belgium (FAMHP) and

8. Other Sources: Pre-clinical or phase 1 trials captured from News releases which are not registered in any of the above listed trial registries.

The Clinical Research Navigator is bringing the trials registration data sets from the following registries of WHO-ICTRP:

1. Brazilian Clinical Trials Registry (ReBec)

2. Chinese Clinical Trial Registry (ChiCTR)

3. Clinical Trials Registry-India (CTRI)

4. Clinical Research Information Service (CRiS)-Republic of Korea

5. Cuban Public Registry of Clinical Trials (RPCEC)

6. German Clinical Trials Register (DRKS)

7. Iranian Registry of Clinical Trials (IRCT)

8. Japan Primary Registries Network (JPRN)

9. Pan African Cinical Trial Registry (PACTR)

10. Peruvian Clinical Trial Registry (REPEC)

11. Sri Lanka Clinical Trials Registry (SLCTR)

12. The Netherlands National Trial Register (NTR)

13. Thai Clinical Trials Register (TCTR)

The data fields in the module are based on the definitions used by ClinicalTrials.gov registry. A convention of "Not Specified" is used in wherever a data element is missing its value in the original records.
